Postpartum Doula Support
So, you’ve been up all night with your baby, nursing around the clock, healing from birth, keeping up with laundry, hosting visitors, making it to the pediatrician, and adjusting to this new chapter of life. It’s a lot.
Postpartum doula support is about meeting you where you are and offering care, reassurance, and practical help.
what to expect during your visit
Are you getting any rest?
How is nursing or feeding going?
When did you last eat? Are you hungry
How are you feeling today?
Would you like a sitz bath drawn?
How are your shoulders? Need a massage?
And so much more.
These are just a few things we’ll check in on during each postpartum visit—maybe while I hand you a hot, brothy soup with crusty bread, too.
Postpartum doula sessions focus on rest, recovery, and bonding with your baby while I take care of the rest.
Each visit is tailored to your needs and may include:
Birth story processing
Safe Postnatal movement and breathwork
Lactation support
Gentle massage
Newborn care guidance
Light meal preparation
Household tidying
Assistance with parenting questions
And so much more!
“Matrescence—the process of becoming a mother—is as profound as adolescence, yet it lacks the structure, rituals, and recognition it deserves.”
— Alexandra Sacks, MD
